Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garland Oars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Seryogin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Seryogin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, George Seryogin!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oars shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Oars will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Oars postures up in Seryogin's guard and throws a big left but Seryogin blocks it.
Oars's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Oars is looking to work some ground and pound but Seryogin has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oars trying to control the position from guard on top but Seryogin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Seryogin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Oars will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Oars fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Seryogin sprawls well initially but Oars persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Oars slips a nice elbow through Seryogin's hands, connecting with Seryogin's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oars is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Seryogin defends it well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Seryogin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Oars sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Seryogin shoots in for a double leg but Oars sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Oars changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Seryogin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Oars goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Seryogin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Oars's guard! Nice work there by Seryogin!

Seryogin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oars has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Seryogin has managed to get both his arms back between Oars's legs - danger averted.

Seryogin rolls with it to try and escape but Oars cranks on the arm and Seryogin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
