Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Blocker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Makna Hasha! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Blocker swivels and escapes. Blocker takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hasha shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Blocker wants to clinch. Nice defenses there by Hasha. Blocker tries to close the distance and clinch but Hasha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Blocker misses with an uppercut. Hasha saw that one coming. Hasha wants to clinch up but Blocker keeps it at a distance. Hasha should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hasha scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hasha looks gassed! Blocker is looking to reverse the position. Blocker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hasha's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hasha is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Blocker is looking to control Hasha's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Blocker avoid being mounted? Blocker keeps control of the position for the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hasha tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blocker keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Hasha wants to pass the guard but Blocker is defending well. Blocker moves into full guard.
Blocker is pulling down on Hasha's head to control his posture. Hasha won't allow Blocker to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Blocker throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Hasha wants to control from the top but Blocker keeps moving. Blocker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Blocker is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hasha is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hasha flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Blocker anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hasha and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Blocker slips an arm under Hasha chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Blocker has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Blocker is squeezing on Hasha like an anaconda would it's prey. Hasha fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
