Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Parson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Fricke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Brock Parson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brock Parson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Fricke! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Parson wants to control but Fricke is keeping him busy. Fricke tries to get to full guard but Parson has control of the leg. Fricke wants to get back to full guard but Parson has mounted him! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parson blocks Fricke's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Fricke throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Fricke is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fricke is bucking up trying to escape but Parson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The referee warns Fricke that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Parson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fricke can do anything to dispel that myth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fricke doesn't succeed with the takedown and Parson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fricke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Who's going to make the next move? Parson is trying to control Fricke's posture but Fricke avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fricke creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Parson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Fricke throwing strikes but Parson manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Fricke looking for a sweep but Parson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Parson controlling his opponent. Parson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fricke is looking to escape. Fricke is desperately trying to improve his position but Parson has a good base and remains in mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Parson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Fricke throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Fricke manages to regain half guard. Good work. Fricke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Parson is controlling the pace.
Fricke wants to get back to full guard but Parson has passed into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Parson prevents Fricke from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Brock Parson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Parson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
