Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burcee Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pain might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgARus5JFQY. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Braga was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Burcee Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Braga! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braga shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Pain manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Pain keeping full guard, as Braga tries to pass. Braga is standing up over Pain. Pain looks to escape but Braga dives into side control.
Braga is staying tight to Pain's torso, preventing him from escaping. Pain is looking for a sweep. Braga is working Pain over with some ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Pain is trying to control Braga's posture but Braga avoids it. Pain tries to escape but Braga is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Braga content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Braga working the head and body with strikes. Pain is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Braga landing strikes. A lull in the action here. Pain on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Pain stops Braga from passing to mount. Pain tries to bench press Braga off him but Braga keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain is working hard here to advance position. Braga controls the position. Braga working the ground and pound from side control. Braga controlling the position. Pain is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pain manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Braga misses with some strikes from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Braga can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Braga is refusing to be controlled, as Pain sits in half guard. Braga actively working from the bottom here. Braga looks gassed! Pain wants to stand up but Braga has a hold of him and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Braga manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pain would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Braga dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A head kick misses from Pain. Pain stuffs the takedown attempt from Braga. Braga gets slowly back to his feet. Braga darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pain pushes Braga off looking to stand but Braga dives back in and keeps control.
Pain has hold of Braga's hands but Braga slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Braga is breathing heavily. Pain is looking to escape. Braga not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain tries to roll over but Braga keeps him under control. Pain is trying to stand.
Braga controlling the action here. Braga slips a nice elbow through Pain's hands, connecting with Pain's forehead. Pain has hold of Braga's hands but Braga slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Pain is looking for a sweep. Braga is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Braga prevents Pain from standing back up.
Pain taking some punishment here, with Braga in his half guard. Braga perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Pain regains full guard. Nicely done. Braga wants to control from the top but Pain keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain is looking to stand up but Braga isn't so interested in that idea. Pain not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Braga trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pain wants to stand and escape but Braga is having none of it. Pain keeping moving, preventing Braga from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Braga circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pain scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pain tries to get to his feet but Braga is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Pain in his guard. Pain has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Braga throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Braga is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Braga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Pain with a poor takedown and Braga decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pain's guard. Braga passes Pain's left leg - he's now in half guard. Braga is nestled in close to Pain, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Braga throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pain looks like he's trying to stand up.
Braga seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Pain is trying to stand up here but Braga is controlling him well. James Braga has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pain tries to get to full guard but Braga has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Braga swats him away and circles back towards the center. Braga tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pain sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Braga somewhat. Pain doesn't succeed with the takedown and Braga counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pain pulls Braga in close to his closed guard and prevents Braga from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain looking for a guillotine here but Braga defends easily.
Pain wants to get back to his feet but Braga is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Braga controls from within his opponent's guard. Pain is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pain working a defensive guard here.
Braga trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pain working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Braga.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pain tries a head kick but it misses.

Pain throws a sloppy head kick and Braga moves out of range easily. Pain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Braga shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pain manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Braga gets to his feet - Pain follows without any prompting. Burcee Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pain gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Braga counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Burcee Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Braga stands and steps away. Pain gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pain doesn't manage to clinch there - Braga circles away.

And that's the end of the fight! James Braga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Braga winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
