Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Preston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Preston!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preston throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Webb.
Webb shoots for a double leg takedown but Preston sprawls well. He's pushed Webb's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Webb doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A shot to the body from Webb misses
and Webb takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Webb ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Webb throws a low kick but Preston avoids it.
Preston misses with a jab, cross combination.
Webb shoots in and drives through. Preston sprawls well.
Webb closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Preston drops Webb with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Webb looks back up at him and smiles so Preston waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Webb is rocked!
It looks like John Webb has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Preston ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Webb out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Preston!
