Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Gelder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Smack My Bitch Up - The Prodigy as his entrance music. Jason Lee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Diego Gelder! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Lee! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gelder goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Gelder shoots in and bounces Lee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gelder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gelder tries to stand but Lee is controlling from the bottom. Gelder stands up and waves to Lee to follow him. Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jason Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gelder has a takedown stuffed. Gelder doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gelder looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Gelder persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing. Lee slow jab from Gelder misses its intended target. Lee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gelder! Gelder is breathing heavily. Lee takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lee's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Gelder has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee looking to break Gelder's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Gelder remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lee will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Lee has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gelder has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Jason Lee dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A punch combination from Lee misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gelder uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee. A jab from Lee does it's job there. Gelder dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Gelder moves away from the strike by Lee. A punch combination from Lee misses. Gelder moves into the clinch. Gelder breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gelder motions for Lee to come forward. Gelder throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lee shoots in for a double leg but Gelder sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gelder doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lee takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Gelder fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gelder moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Gelder throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside. Lee throws out a powerful jab.
Gelder is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Lee digs a good body shot into Gelder's ribs. Oh Gelder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee scores a takedown into full mount! Lee looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gelder wants to try and get back to his feet. Gelder seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee trying to control but he's not successful this time. Lee has control of Gelder's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gelder regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gelder is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action. Jason Lee has got the better of the ground game so far. Gelder is working to get back to half guard.
Lee moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gelder has worked his arm free - good work by Gelder!
Gelder is trying to buck Lee off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gelder is trying to improve his position. Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lee trying to control the position but Gelder is working away. Gelder is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lee is controlling him well. Lee is looking to take a break and control but Gelder is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lee is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee advances nicely into full mount. Lee working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Gelder looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lee! Submission of the night perhaps?
