Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hawk might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to empire state of mind. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ultimate Warrior! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warrior closes the distance and clinches. Hawk tries to pull guard but Warrior holds him up against the cage and eventually Hawk drops back down to his feet.
Hawk tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Warrior smiles and moves away.
A big left from Warrior misses. Hawk shoots in for a double leg but Warrior sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hawk. That's going to take a lot out of him. Warrior throws a series of punches but Hawk moves out of range. A decent looking body kick lands there for Warrior. Warrior throws a series of strikes that have Hawk backpedaling.
It looks like Mike Hawk has been cut. Hawk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hawk moves out of range of the body kick from Warrior.
Hawk slips a jab and a cross from Warrior.
Warrior swinging wilding here.
Warrior rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hawk moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hawk fails with a takedown attempt. Hawk avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ultimate Warrior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk throws a nice looking combination but Warrior bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hawk clinches up against the cage. Hawk fails with a takedown attempt. Hawk is breathing heavily. Warrior thuds his right hand into Hawk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Warrior swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Warrior lands a with a good body shot. Left hook, right uppercut from Warrior. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Warrior drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warrior stands and steps away. Hawk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Warrior falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hawk counters by moving into the clinch. Warrior breaks the clinch.
Warrior with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nice sprawl there from Warrior as Hawk shoots in. Warrior lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hawk circles away quickly and effectively. Warrior lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hawk moves into the clinch. Hawk fails to pull guard.
Hawk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hawk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Warrior counters with a series of strikes. Hawk will be more careful next time no doubt. A combination from Warrior does no damage. Hawk connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Warrior's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Warrior throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hawk counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Warrior kicks Hawk off and gets to his feet. Warrior swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hawk counters with a head kick. Hawk misses with a takedown attempt and Warrior counters by moving into the clinch. Warrior tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Warrior fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Warrior misses with a jab, cross combination.
Warrior tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hawk counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Warrior being controlled for a moment. Warrior pushes Hawk away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hawk gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hawk stands up. Hawk showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Warrior.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawk forces Warrior back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ultimate Warrior will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mike Hawk's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Warrior throws a right and a left that both miss. Hawk drives through and clinches with Warrior against the cage.
Warrior is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hawk can't fight it off and eventually Warrior manages to take the fight to the floor. Hawk looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Warrior has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hawk is proving hard to escape from. Hawk wants to stand but Warrior is controlling the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hawk has a closed guard, preventing Warrior from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk throws a couple of heel strikes.
Hawk pushes Warrior off and gets back to his feet.
Hawk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Warrior was covering up waiting for the punch and Hawk finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hawk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Warrior is proving hard to escape from. Warrior manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Hawk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Warrior won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warrior is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hawk has just dragged him back down to the mat. Hawk tries to move to mount but Warrior blocks the move with his legs. Hawk is looking to take a break and control but Warrior is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Warrior pushes Hawk away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hawk gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hawk moves into the clinch. Warrior is trying to break free. Hawk is fighting it off but Warrior persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hawk's guard against the cage. Warrior stands up from Hawk's guard - Warrior perhaps looking for a knockout. Hawk throws a sloppy head kick and Warrior moves out of range easily. Hawk checks the leg kick nicely there.
Warrior looks to land a combination but Hawk avoids it well. Warrior throws a jab when Hawk was well out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hawk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warrior moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Warrior tried to score with a low kick but Hawk checks it. Hawk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Warrior circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hawk dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mike Hawk's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Warrior throws a combination that misses and Hawk counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hawk. Warrior wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hawk stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Warrior throws a series of punches but Hawk avoids them all with ease. Warrior throws the kick towards the body but Hawk avoids it. Warrior tries to clinch but Hawk is having none of it. Hawk throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Warrior keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Warrior scores with a one two! Hawk had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Mike Hawk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Warrior fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hawk shoots in for a takedown but Warrior shows good takedown defense. A clash of legs there as Hawk blocks the low kick. Hawk throws a head kick that misses. Warrior tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Warrior throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Hawk closes the distance and clinches. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Warrior breaks the clinch.
Warrior throws a leg kick that is checked and Hawk counters with a takedown into side control. Warrior sneaks out the side door and pushes Hawk away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Warrior throws a series of strikes that have Hawk backpedaling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warrior tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hawk swats him away and circles back towards the center. Warrior displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Warrior throws a right and a left that Hawk avoids nicely. Warrior looks to score with a jab to the body but Hawk is just out of range. Hawk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Warrior throws a combination that misses and Hawk counters with a nice double leg into guard. Warrior wants to stand up but Hawk is controlling him. Warrior is looking to stand back up but Hawk counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Warrior. Warrior is trying to stand.
Hawk is trying to control the action in half guard but Warrior is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Warrior is trying to stand up here but Hawk is controlling him well. Hawk uses his free foot to push down on Warrior's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Warrior. Warrior's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Hawk content just to control the position here. Hawk breaks from Warrior's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hawk sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Hawk showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hawk has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
