The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adroitly tries to land a front kick but Tnornhammer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tnornhammer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Adroitly shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tnornhammer sprawls well. Tnornhammer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Adroitly gets slowly back to his feet.
Adroitly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Adroitly shoots in for a takedown but Tnornhammer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eric Tnornhammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Adroitly.
Adroitly shoots for a double leg takedown but Tnornhammer sprawls well. He's pushed Adroitly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Adroitly closes the distance and clinches up with Tnornhammer, looking for a takedown. Adroitly pushes Tnornhammer against the cage but Tnornhammer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Adroitly throws a right and a left that Tnornhammer avoids nicely.

Tnornhammer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Adroitly looks gassed!

Tnornhammer wants to work for an arm triangle but Adroitly is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Tnornhammer is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Adroitly is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
