The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herculius has a takedown stuffed.
Herculius looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
FURY is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Herculius's half guard.
FURY looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
FURY moves into full mount! Herculius won't be happy about that!
FURY lands a big elbow.
FURY lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Herculius takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
FURY takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
FURY cracks Herculius with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
FURY working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Herculius looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by FURY! Submission of the night perhaps?
