Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Luimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Disposable Heroes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luimes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Luimes wants it to stay on the feet.

Luimes feints and as Ramirez raises his hands in defense, Luimes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ramirez is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Ramirez wants to control but Luimes is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Luimes has control of Ramirez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ramirez regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ramirez is desperately trying to improve his position but Luimes has a good base and remains in mount.

Luimes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ramirez was covering up waiting for the punch and Luimes finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Luimes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ramirez sprawls well initially but Luimes persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
