Mellon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Over - Drake. Jax Mellon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mellon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Mellon regains half guard there - taking advantage of White's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Mellon has White pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mellon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending White tumbling to the mat - Mellon dives into White's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mellon throws and elbow that misses. White uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mellon's guard. Nice move by White!

Mellon can't keep his opponent in guard - White advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Mellon turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips White off and cradles Mellon's limp body as White celebrates with his corner.
