The crowd seem to be enjoying Craun's choice of entrance music: Smoke That Kush. Matt Craun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fudencio's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Fudencio duly obliges.
Craun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fudencio as he jumps to the side.
Fudencio misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Craun slips a jab and a cross from Fudencio.
Fudencio fails with the takedown
and Craun counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Craun looks gassed!
Craun stops Fudencio from getting back to his feet.
Craun has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fudencio manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Craun keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fudencio tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Craun trying to pass the guard but Fudencio defending well.
Craun prevents Fudencio from improving his position.

Fudencio has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fudencio connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Craun momentarily.

Fudencio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fudencio will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Craun counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Craun.

Craun is sitting in close to Fudencio's body. Fudencio has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Craun is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Craun is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fudencio.
