Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodger Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Grey! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingston shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grey is trying to control but can't.
Kingston scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kingston is thwarting Grey's attempts to control the position. Kingston with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Grey trying to control here.
Kingston missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kingston controlling the pace. Kingston is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

It looks like Kingston is going to stand back up.

Kingston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Grey keeps working. Grey is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Grey trying to hold on to Kingston's head to control him but Kingston postures up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kingston comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Grey misses with a hook. A cross from Grey lands. Grey tries to clinch but Kingston is having none of it. Grey feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kingston's calf. Grey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Grey gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kingston.
Kingston is breathing heavily. Grey scores with a shot to the side of Kingston's head. Grey pushes Kingston back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Grey effectively controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grey connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Rodger Kingston has been cut. A left hand lands to the body for Grey.

Grey throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Kingston stumbling backwards into the cage! Kingston bounces back off the cage towards Grey, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Grey lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Grey celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Paul Grey!
