The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Virta connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vargamae. Vargamae circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Virta lands a glancing blow to the side of Vargamae's head.
Virta keeps the fight on the outside.
Virta throws a nice looking combination but Vargamae bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vargamae staying out of range there.
Virta throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ara Virta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Virta lands a glancing blow to the side of Vargamae's head.
It looks like Andres Vargamae has been cut.
Vargamae will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vargamae shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Virta as he avoids it easily.

Virta throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vargamae sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice defenses there by Vargamae.
Virta looks to throw the jab but Vargamae is out of range.
Virta waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vargamae.
Vargamae tries to clinch but Virta moves out of range.
Vargamae shoots in but no luck this time.
Ara Virta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andres Vargamae.
Vargamae shoots in but Virta avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Virta throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A punch combination from Virta misses.

Virta swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Virta lands a left and a right that send Vargamae crashing to the mat, dazed. Virta thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Vargamae is rocked!
Virta tries to bum rush Vargamae with a series of wild strikes but Vargamae uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vargamae will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vargamae is trying desperately to land a takedown but Virta is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Vargamae.
A combination from Virta does no damage.
Ara Virta is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vargamae tries to score a power double leg takedown but Virta sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vargamae somewhat.
Vargamae looks gassed!
Vargamae lands a head kick. Virta smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Virta cracks Vargamae with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Are you kidding me?! Virta ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Vargamae clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
