Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Brentwood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Correa!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Correa does it's job there.
Correa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brentwood.
Brentwood shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A combination from Correa does no damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Brentwood.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Brentwood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brentwood shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Correa defends it nicely.
Correa gets caught flat footed, as Brentwood shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brentwood trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Brentwood trying to control the position from guard on top but Correa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brentwood passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ground and pound from Brentwood seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Brentwood cracks Correa with a big elbow.
It looks like Eric Correa has been cut.
Brentwood throws an elbow but Correa slips to the side and avoids it well.
Brentwood with the ground and pound but Correa regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brentwood lands a nice short elbow.
That has opened up Eric Correa's cut even more.

Brentwood thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Correa won't allow Brentwood to pass to mount.
Brentwood missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Brentwood looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Brentwood is looking to take a break and control but Correa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Well, if Brentwood is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Correa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brentwood is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brentwood seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Correa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Brentwood swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Correa to counter with a crisp jab.
Brentwood fails with the takedown
and Correa counters with a thumping low kick.
Eric Correa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brentwood throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Correa counters with a nice low kick that buckles Brentwood's knee momentarily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Correa.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Brentwood lands a left and a right that sends Correa crashing to the canvas! Brentwood dives into mount looking to finish!
The cut above Eric Correa's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eric Correa's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bruce Brentwood!
