Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes to the cage accompanied by My life. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Hughes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Stone! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughes drops Stone with a beautiful combination! Stone stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hughes is looking for the KO! Hughes with a strong takedown there and he's ended up in side control.
Stone is rocked! Stone tries to escape but Hughes is in control. Stone is still in real trouble! Can Hughes finish him? Hughes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Stone manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Stone seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hughes stops Stone from standing up. Hughes gets to his feet. Stone looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone has his takedown stuffed and Hughes counters with a takedown into side control. Stone looks gassed! Hughes stands up. Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch but Stone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hughes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stone napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee asks Hughes politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hughes prefers to stall for the moment though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone is looking for a sweep. Hughes throws a strike aimed at the side of Stone's head but Stone avoids it well. Hughes decides to stand back up. Hughes steps back and let's Stone get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stone can't do much from the bottom here. Hughes is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Stone prevents Hughes from moving into mount. Hughes moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Hughes tries to move into full mount but can't pass Stone's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hughes is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Stone can't escape the position.
Hughes avoids the attempt from Stone to control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Stone is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hughes putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hughes wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hughes content just to control the position here. Hughes scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hughes unloading with bombs! Stone is trying desperately to improve position. Hughes controlling his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Hughes dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stone misses with a takedown attempt and Hughes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard. Hughes pushing down on Stone's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hughes working over Stone with some ground and pound. Stone looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Hughes is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hughes prevents Stone from improving his position. Hughes tries to stand and escape but Stone is controlling the position. Stone trying to control from the bottom.
Hughes controlling the action here. Jackson Hughes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hughes trying to pass the guard but Stone defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone kicks off Hughes and gets to his feet. Stone slaps away a takedown attempt from Hughes, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hughes fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stone throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hughes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hughes softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Stone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hughes has Stone up against the cage in a clinch.
Hughes gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hughes is working away from the top position though. Stone is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hughes is staying active. Stone tries to get to full guard but Hughes has control of the leg. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Hughes dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Hughes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jackson Hughes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stone misses with a takedown and Hughes counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hughes is controlling the pace.
Stone is trying to maintain the position but Hughes is very close to passing his half guard. Hughes stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Stone to get to his feet. Stone with a lazy takedown attempt and Hughes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stone is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hughes dives into side control.
Stone looking for a sweep but Hughes has passed into full mount! Oh no! Stone wants to hold on but Hughes pushes him away. Hughes prevents Stone from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes with a couple of short strikes. Hughes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stone can do to turn this around? Stone is working to get back to half guard.
Stone tries to hold on but Hughes pushes him away. Hughes lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hughes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hughes punishing his opponent with strikes. Stone is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Stone is just holding on here. Hughes manages to take his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Stone right now.
Hughes looking for the choke but no joy. Hughes struggling to keep hold of the position.
Stone breaks Hughes's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Hughes pulls Stone in close to prevent any damage. Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hughes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hughes holds on and takes a little breather. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stone's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hughes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stone manages to get himself to full guard.
Stone wants to sweep but no luck. Stone pushes Hughes off and gets back to his feet.
Kyle Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jackson Hughes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stone throws a sloppy head kick and Hughes moves out of range easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Jackson Hughes showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hughes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
