Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sami Holmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MC Hester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sami Holmen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, MC Hester! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hester misses with a low kick. Holmen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hester. Holmen shoots in and bounces Hester off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Holmen won't allow Hester to get back to his feet. Holmen stands and throws Hester's legs to the side, diving into side control. Holmen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hester, who protects the arm well. Hester looks to move to half guard but instead Holmen has passed into mount! Damn! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hester is in a horrible position here. Holmen smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holmen moves to the back position. Holmen is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Holmen tries to get the hooks in deep but Hester pushed the leg off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holmen is persistently looking for the submission but Hester is defending it well.
Even with his hooks in, Holmen manages to miss with strikes from the back. Holmen working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holmen is breathing heavily. Hester controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Hester is trying to get back to his feet but Holmen has full control of the position and if anything, Hester has just worked his way into a worse spot. Holmen working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Hester is trying to stand back up. Hester defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Holmen's arms. Holmen keeps control of the position as Hester tries to break free.
Hester really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holmen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holmen sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Hester taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sami Holmen!
