Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quasin Raed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Quasin Raed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko tries to clinch up.
No luck for Emelianenko with that takedown attempt.
Emelianenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Emelianenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Raed's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Raed has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Raed there as he acknowledges the shot.

Emelianenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Raed has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Emelianenko has managed to get both his arms back between Raed's legs - danger averted.
Raed wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Emelianenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raed swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Quasin Raed will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
