The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
M Lau throws a head kick that misses.
Nieddds misses with a few strikes there.
M Lau tries to close the distance and clinch but Nieddds swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nieddds tries to bum rush M Lau with a series of wild strikes but M Lau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nieddds keeps the fight on the outside.
Nieddds swats away the attempt to clinch by M Lau.
M Lau misses with a head kick.
Nieddds stalks M Lau and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into M Lau's face. M Lau staggers backwards, shaken.
The fight stays on the outside here - M Lau looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nieddds catches M Lau with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Nieddds keeps the fight on the outside.
Nieddds connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nieddds has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from M Lau finds it's way round the side to connect with Nieddds's head.

M Lau rushes Nieddds and presses him up against the cage.
Nieddds avoids a wild elbow strike from M Lau.
Nieddds wants to break the clinch but can't.
M Lau tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nieddds stalling in the clinch but M Lau improves position.
Nieddds is trying to break free.
Nieddds looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
M Lau lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
M Lau misses with a knee strike.
Nieddds is trying to break the clinch but M Lau is controlling him.

Nieddds pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Nieddds throws a shot to the body.
M Lau doesn't manage to clinch there - Nieddds circles away.
Nieddds ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nieddds throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
M Lau is breathing heavily.
Nieddds throws out a powerful jab.
Nieddds fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

M Lau is rocked!
Nieddds throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oh M Lau is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nieddds lands with a nice body punch.
M Lau seems to have got his legs back now.

Nieddds lands a left and a right that send M Lau crashing to the mat, dazed. Nieddds thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nieddds punishes M Lau's body with a nice straight punch.
M Lau takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nieddds walks forward and throws a big overhand right! M Lau drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Nieddds swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from M Lau's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
