Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo DeBaucherie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Landslide by Fleetwood Mac kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lorenzo DeBaucherie could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ben Franklin's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lorenzo DeBaucherie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Franklin! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeBaucherie throws a sloppy head kick and Franklin moves out of range easily. A head kick by Franklin misses and DeBaucherie counters with a thumping low kick. Franklin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. DeBaucherie throws a head kick that misses and Franklin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Franklin wants to control from the top but DeBaucherie keeps moving. DeBaucherie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. DeBaucherie throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
DeBaucherie is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Franklin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DeBaucherie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Franklin trying to control but DeBaucherie is working from the bottom. DeBaucherie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Franklin! Franklin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's one minute gone in the round. DeBaucherie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Franklin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, DeBaucherie has tightened it up now! Franklin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
