Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Scapy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wojtek Scapy! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Scapy sprawls well. Scapy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miller gets slowly back to his feet. Scapy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miller's guard. Scapy wants to stand but Miller has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Scapy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Scapy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Miller trying to keep a closed guard but Scapy is proving a slippery customer.
Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scapy is controlling him. Miller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Miller throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.
Scapy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Miller won't allow Scapy to sweep him here. Scapy wants to stand up but Miller is controlling him. Scapy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Scapy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Miller puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Miller lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Miller decides to stand up. Scapy tries for a takedown but Miller circles away easily and Miller moves into the clinch. Scapy looks gassed! Scapy manages to pull guard.
Scapy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Miller stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fight moves into the clinch position. Miller gets control of Scapy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miller will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Miller is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Scapy is looking to stand up but Miller won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller controls Scapy momentarily but Scapy frees himself. Miller is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Scapy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Miller pulls Scapy in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scapy stopping the sweep attempt from Miller. Miller trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Miller has control of Scapy's left arm, preventing Scapy from doing any damage. Miller controls Scapy momentarily but Scapy frees himself. Miller has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Scapy off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Miller tries to clinch up. Scapy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Scapy throwing strikes from guard but Miller blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Scapy sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Scapy is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Scapy wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.

Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Miller stands up and beckons Scapy to join him on the feet. Scapy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miller counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miller trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller stands up and beckons Scapy to join him on the feet. Jason Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miller lands a high kick!
Scapy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scapy wants it to stay on the feet. Miller is looking to clinch but Scapy is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scapy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage. Scapy is struggling to control the position. Scapy is trying to force a seperation but Miller has the dominant position. Miller just leaning against Scapy, taking a breather. Miller blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Miller prevents Scapy from breaking the clinch. Scapy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Scapy circles away from the clinch attempt and Scapy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Scapy. Scapy stops a takedown attempt from Miller.
Scapy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but Scapy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller wants to clinch. Miller stuffs the takedown attempt from Scapy. Scapy gets slowly back to his feet. Miller tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller is looking to clinch. Miller tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Scapy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Scapy prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scapy gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Scapy landing knees to the head.
Miller wants to get back to striking at distance but Scapy won't allow it.
Scapy is trying to break the clinch but Miller is controlling him. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Scapy tries to pull guard but Miller holds him up against the cage and eventually Scapy drops back down to his feet.
Miller manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Scapy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Miller.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Miller dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Scapy. Miller wants to control but Scapy postures up. Miller wants to get back to his feet but Scapy drags him back down. Scapy decides to stand back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Miller throws a head kick that misses and Scapy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Miller! Scapy wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Miller is trying to control but can't.
Scapy wants to get back to his feet.

Scapy is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Miller has managed to free his arm - good work. Miller is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Scapy is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position. Miller is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Scapy pulls his head out easily. Jason Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Miller fails with the takedown and Scapy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Miller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scapy manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller advances position into side control! Scapy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Scapy prevents Miller from improving position. Miller wants to take a breather but Scapy manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Miller. Scapy is working an open guard so Miller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Scapy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Miller slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Miller wants to sweep but no luck. Scapy wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Wojtek Scapy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
