Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matty Ganns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Clemens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matty Ganns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Clemens! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clemens moves in looking to clinch but Ganns pushes him off. Clemens has Ganns up against the cage in a clinch.
Clemens breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ganns misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clemens shoots in but Ganns avoids the takedown attempt easily. Roger Clemens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clemens scores with a nice body kick.
Clemens shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ganns manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Clemens stopping the sweep attempt from Ganns. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clemens wanted to stand there but Ganns had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clemens is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ganns is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ganns has escaped and now he's on top! Ganns stopping the sweep attempt from Clemens. Clemens has a closed guard, preventing Ganns from standing up. Clemens is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ganns is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Clemens is looking for a kimura but Ganns is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clemens to get the leverage. Clemens trying to control from Ganns's half guard. Ganns has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Ganns lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clemens! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clemens can do anything to dispel that myth. Ganns landing punches. Ganns throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ganns trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ganns looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ganns content just to control the position here. Ganns looking to finish with strikes here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ganns lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Clemens is working to get back to half guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Matty Ganns will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ganns with a poor takedown and Clemens counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Clemens. Ganns is trying to break the clinch but Clemens has him pressed against the cage. Ganns looking for a takedown. Ganns tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matty Ganns. That's going to take a lot out of him. Clemens jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ganns walks away with a smile on his face. Clemens gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Roger Clemens is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Clemens dives in and grabs Ganns's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ganns pushes down on Clemens's head and hops out. Ganns shoots and misses letting Clemens counter with a right hand. Clemens throws a right hand that Ganns ducks under and follows up with a left that Ganns also avoids with ease. Clemens shoots for a takedown but Ganns saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Clemens tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ganns swivels and escapes. Ganns keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Clemens moves in looking to clinch but Ganns pushes him off.

Ganns tries to keep at a distance but Clemens has taken the fight into the clinch. Ganns has had enough of the clinch but Clemens keeps him there for the moment. Clemens gets underhooks to prevent Ganns's takedown attempt.

Clemens working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ganns's head. Clemens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ganns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ganns looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clemens wants to control from the top but Ganns keeps moving. Clemens stopping the sweep attempt from Ganns. Clemens trying to control the position from guard on top but Ganns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ganns striking off his back but it's not causing Clemens any problems. Clemens has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ganns is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Clemens postures up in Ganns's guard and throws a big left but Ganns blocks it. Ganns trying to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Clemens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A right-left combo lands from Clemens. Ganns tries for a takedown but Clemens circles away easily and Clemens counters with a nice body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ganns wants to clinch and Clemens counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Clemens showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Clemens looks to land a combination but Ganns avoids it well. Clemens tries for a takedown but Ganns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ganns takes the fight into the clinch. Ganns tries to pull guard but Clemens holds him up against the cage and eventually Ganns drops back down to his feet.
Ganns has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Clemens uses from the top position. Clemens postures up.
Clemens wants to stand and escape but instead Ganns has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Ganns trying to control but Clemens is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clemens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ganns tries to free his leg and advance position but Clemens is retaining full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Clemens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ganns as he jumps to the side. Clemens blocks a head kick by Ganns.
Ganns tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Clemens holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ganns letting Clemens take a breather here. Clemens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ganns wants to clinch and Clemens counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ganns! Clemens takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ganns is desperately trying to improve his position but Clemens has a good base and remains in mount. Ganns manages to regain half guard. Good work. Ganns is not content to let Clemens control the position. Ganns wants to improve his position but Clemens is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ganns makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ganns. Ganns is trying to keep Clemens in close.
Ganns manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clemens manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ganns prevents Clemens from getting back to his feet. Ganns drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ganns jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ganns trying to control the position from guard on top but Clemens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ganns stands and throws Clemens's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ganns looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ganns advances nicely into full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matty Ganns. I think Ganns has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
