And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Clarkson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carwin moves into the clinch.
Carwin lands an uppercut.
Carwin scores with a hook to the body.
Carwin lands an uppercut.
A short body shot lands from Carwin as the two fighters clinch.
Carwin stalls.
A nice left hand lands by Carwin.
Carwin scores with a shoulder strike.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Carwin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carwin with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Carwin is stalling here.
Clarkson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Carwin scores with a shoulder strike.

Carwin drops Clarkson with a big right hand! Carwin charges in looking to finish - Clarkson manages to keep Carwin in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
Clarkson looks gassed!
Carwin works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Clarkson is not content to let Carwin control the position.

Carwin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Clarkson won't allow Carwin to pass to mount.
Carwin is looking to take a break and control but Clarkson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Carwin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Carwin passes the guard and advances to mount!

Clarkson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Carwin.

Carwin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Clarkson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Clarkson!

Clarkson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Carwin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Clarkson is looking to defend but Carwin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Clarkson! Carwin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Clarkson taps out and this one is all over!
