The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dick.
Kaplan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dick shoots for a double leg takedown but Kaplan sprawls well. He's pushed Dick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kaplan misses with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kaplan but Kaplan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
