The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackmore has a takedown stuffed.
Blackmore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mir swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blackmore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mir sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blackmore somewhat.

Mir stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mir wants it to stay on the feet.
