Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kriss Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladmir Tsipin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladmir Tsipin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kriss Turner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kriss Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladmir Tsipin! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsipin explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Turner lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Turner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Tsipin is looking to improve his position.
Turner looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Turner is figuring out what he wants to do next. Tsipin tries to get to full guard but Turner has control of the leg. Tsipin is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner wants to stand up but Tsipin has a hold of him and won't allow it. Tsipin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Turner is pressing down on Tsipin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tsipin is holding on for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Turner scores with a takedown into Tsipin's guard. Turner looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner stands and steps away. Tsipin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Tsipin keeps the fight on the outside. Tsipin wants to clinch up but Turner keeps it at a distance. Tsipin tries to clinch there but Turner circles away.

Turner closes the distance and lands a one-two. Tsipin with a lazy takedown attempt and Turner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tsipin's guard. Turner trying to control but Tsipin is working from the bottom. Turner won't allow Tsipin to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsipin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tsipin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tsipin looks gassed! Turner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Turner trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tsipin's guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Turner moves in looking to clinch but Tsipin pushes him off. Turner fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tsipin tries to close the distance and clinch but Turner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Turner misses with a takedown and Tsipin counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Turner is looking to regain half guard here but Tsipin keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kriss Turner dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Turner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tsipin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tsipin feints and as Turner raises his hands in defense, Tsipin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tsipin trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Turner looking for a sweep. Not yet Turner, not yet. Tsipin throws a big right hand that misses. Turner trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tsipin drops back looking for a leg! Turner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Turner manages to kick Tsipin off! Tsipin jumps back into Turner's guard. Tsipin looking to pass the guard. Tsipin wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tsipin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Turner is keeping the position for now. Tsipin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Turner looking for a sweep. Not yet Turner, not yet. Turner is trying to hold Tsipin in close to prevent damage but Tsipin has managed to pass into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsipin wants to pass the guard but Turner is defending well. Tsipin throwing shots but Turner is blocking nicely. Tsipin trying to control the action but Turner is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Turner misses with a two punch combination.
Turner gets caught flat footed, as Tsipin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tsipin wants to pass the guard but Turner is keeping the position. Vladmir Tsipin has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Turner wants to stand but Tsipin has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Tsipin trying to control here.
Tsipin has one foot on Turner's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Tsipin circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladmir Tsipin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Tsipin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Turner is fending him off so far but Tsipin persists. Nope, Turner circles away and we're back to standing. Tsipin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tsipin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turner keeps working. Turner wants to control but Tsipin postures up. Turner is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tsipin is controlling him well. Tsipin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tsipin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner prevents Tsipin from moving into mount. Tsipin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tsipin gets caught flat footed, as Turner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tsipin trying to keep a closed guard but Turner is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner sitting in guard, not really doing much. Turner wants to stand but Tsipin is controlling his posture from full guard. Tsipin tries to strike from the bottom.

Turner is refusing to be controlled, as Tsipin sits in half guard. Tsipin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Turner scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Tsipin manages to mount him!
Turner tries to lock up and control but Tsipin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Turner trying desperately to get to his feet.
Tsipin content just to control the position here. Turner throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Turner can't escape the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Vladmir Tsipin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Tsipin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
