Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between TAKAMORI GOMA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Scary. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gomi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
GOMA shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gomi as he avoids it easily.

GOMA throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gomi was covering up waiting for the punch and GOMA finishes the takedown easily into guard.

GOMA bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
GOMA shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

GOMA takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
