Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Kango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kango kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Everyone Nose. Gomez has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Kango shoots in and drives through. Gomez sprawls well.
Gomez looks gassed!
Gomez tries for a takedown but Kango sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kango is looking to clinch but Gomez is avoiding it.
Kango thows a body kick. Gomez tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kango misses with a takedown
and Gomez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kango!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gomez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kango pushes a forearm under Gomez's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gomez is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
