The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lohtander is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jackson's half guard.

Jackson tries to hold on but Lohtander postures up.
Lohtander wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lohtander wants to take a breather but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson has one foot on Lohtander's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Lohtander. Lohtander gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lohtander as he jumps to the side.
Lohtander displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lohtander feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Damien Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Lohtander 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Lohtander swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Damien Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
