Peering comes to the cage accompanied by Saint Vitus Dance. Vitus Peering has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vitus Peering! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mason Wyndow! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peering shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Peering looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Peering goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Wyndow turns into him and now he's in Peering's guard.
Peering looking for a sweep. Not yet Peering, not yet. Wyndow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Wyndow passes easily into side control. Nice work. Peering is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wyndow's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Peering keeps control of the position for the meantime. Wyndow wants to pass to mount but Peering is defending the position.

Peering might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Peering regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Wyndow. Wyndow slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wyndow trying to control the position but Peering is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Peering manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Peering manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Peering scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Peering fails in his attempt to clinch. Peering tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wyndow swivels and escapes. Wyndow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wyndow working away. Peering is trying to get back to half guard. Wyndow is looking to take a break and control but Peering is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyndow throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Wyndow stands up and we're back to a striking position. Peering tries to clinch there but Wyndow circles away.
Wyndow stuffs the takedown attempt from Peering. Peering gets slowly back to his feet. Vitus Peering seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wyndow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Peering looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wyndow! A nice elbow there by Peering.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peering is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wyndow has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wyndow! Peering is breathing heavily. Peering has a closed guard, preventing Wyndow from standing up. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Wyndow takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Peering lands a few punches from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Peering stands up and beckons Wyndow to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Wyndow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peering accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Peering distracts Wyndow with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Peering looking to pass the guard. Peering throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wyndow works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wyndow looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Peering trying to control the position from guard on top but Wyndow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peering seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wyndow throws a combination. Peering tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Vitus Peering is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Peering changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wyndow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Peering working the ground and pound. Peering trying to control the position but Wyndow is working away. Wyndow is trying to buck Peering off. Peering tries to score with some ground and pound. Wyndow controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Vitus Peering overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peering stands up and we're back to a striking position. Peering scores a takedown into full mount! Peering with shots to the head and body - Wyndow looks very uncomfortable down there. Peering lands a big shot there that rocks Wyndow but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Peering has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wyndow's face.

Peering lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wyndow hang on? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peering looking to secure an arm triangle but Wyndow defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peering looking to ground and pound but Wyndow is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wyndow misses with a body kick. Peering shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wyndow napping and manages to drive through into side control! Peering trying to control the action but Wyndow is working from the bottom. Check out the look on Peering's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Wyndow tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Peering wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wyndow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Peering. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Peering lands a nice forearm strike. Peering staying calm. Peering trying to control the action but Wyndow is working from the bottom. Peering scoring with punches from side control. Vitus Peering is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Wyndow tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Peering wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. That's four minutes gone in the round. Wyndow wants to control but Peering is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mason Wyndow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Peering moves nicely into side control. Peering just content to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Vitus Peering showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peering, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
