Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martijn de Knegt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martijn de Knegt looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martijn de Knegt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mirko Filipovic! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! de Knegt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Filipovic throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by de Knegt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Filipovic throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
de Knegt is rocked! Filipovic throws a head kick that misses. Filipovic throws a series of punches but de Knegt moves out of range. de Knegt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Filipovic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten de Knegt somewhat. Filipovic tries to clinch up. Filipovic throws a sloppy head kick and de Knegt moves out of range easily. de Knegt dodges the punch combination from Filipovic.
de Knegt moves into the clinch successfully.
Filipovic keeps control of de Knegt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Filipovic tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. de Knegt just stands there and leans against the cage. de Knegt prevents the takedown attempt.
de Knegt drops down looking for an ankle pick but Filipovic pulls his leg out and moves away.
de Knegt shoots in but Filipovic avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martijn de Knegt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Filipovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Filipovic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but de Knegt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Filipovic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from de Knegt. de Knegt misses with a combination
and Filipovic counters with a left right combination that sends de Knegt crashing to the mat - Filipovic wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding de Knegt out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
