Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Darnell Klutie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Bakharev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bakharev is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hatebreed - Live For This. Alexey Bakharev acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darnell Klutie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexey Bakharev!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakharev looks to land a left hand but Klutie moved out of range nicely.
Klutie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Klutie slips a straight right by Bakharev.
Klutie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bakharev looks to score with a jab to the body but Klutie is just out of range.
Klutie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Klutie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Klutie has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bakharev is looking to break free of the clinch but Klutie has double underhooks.
Bakharev tries to circle away but Klutie has him pinned against the cage.

Bakharev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A looping hook to the body misses from Bakharev. Klutie does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bakharev moves out of range of the leg kick from Klutie.
Klutie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Klutie delivers a nice body kick.
Bakharev throws a right and a left that both miss.
Klutie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Klutie throws out a leg kick but Bakharev moves out of range and Klutie only half commits.
Klutie throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bakharev.
It looks like Alexey Bakharev has been cut.
Klutie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bakharev.
Klutie fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bakharev checks it well.
Bakharev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Klutie circles away.
Klutie throws a leg kick but Bakharev sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Klutie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bakharev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bakharev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Klutie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bakharev throws a right hand that Klutie ducks under and follows up with a left that Klutie also avoids with ease.
Klutie throws a leg kick but Bakharev sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Bakharev misses with the body kick
and Klutie counters with a low kick, right behind Bakharev 's knee.

Good leg kick by Klutie there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Klutie stuffs the takedown attempt from Bakharev. Bakharev gets slowly back to his feet.

and Klutie counters with a slapping leg kick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Klutie throws a low kick but Bakharev avoids it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Klutie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A slapping leg kick lands for Klutie.
Bakharev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Klutie's waist but Klutie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bakharev off to one side.
Darnell Klutie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexey Bakharev.
Klutie throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Bakharev stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Klutie follows into mount!
Bakharev is rocked!

Bakharev is still in real trouble! Can Klutie finish him?
Bakharev is in a horrible position here. Klutie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
BOOM! Klutie connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Bakharev in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Klutie punching from mount but Bakharev doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Bakharev seems to have recovered his senses.

Klutie thowing shots but they're missing.
Klutie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bakharev is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Klutie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Klutie looking to finish Bakharev with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bakharev!
Klutie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bakharev can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bakharev holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Klutie tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bakharev is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Klutie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Klutie scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Klutie is looking to clinch but Bakharev is avoiding it.
Klutie throws a wild body kick that Bakharev sees coming a mile off.
Klutie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bakharev counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bakharev.
Klutie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Klutie pulls Bakharev in to control the position.
Bakharev looking to sit in guard and control but Klutie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bakharev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Klutie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Klutie throws a strike but Bakharev rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Klutie keeping moving, preventing Bakharev from controlling successfully.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Klutie is adopting a defensive guard.
Bakharev drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Klutie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bakharev has Klutie in his guard.

Klutie stands and throws Bakharev's legs to the side, diving into side control.
An elbow from Klutie crashes against the mat.
Klutie is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Klutie wants to control but Bakharev is keeping him busy.
Bakharev is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Klutie off and has taken his back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

A close second round but Alexey Bakharev will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
A low kick from Klutie misses
and Bakharev counters with a right hand to the body.
Bakharev looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Klutie is fending him off so far but Bakharev persists. Nope, Klutie circles away and we're back to standing.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Klutie.
Bakharev misses with a wild body shot.
Klutie throws a chopping leg kick but Bakharev manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Klutie tries to grapple but his opponent circles
so Bakharev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Klutie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bakharev tries to free his leg and advance position but Klutie is retaining full guard.
Klutie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bakharev content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Klutie has locked up a guillotine! Klutie's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Bakharev is holding on here and Klutie must be using up a lot of energy. Bakharev has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Klutie gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
