Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, nothing whatsoever. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Iron Mike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mo Mason!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike misses with a series of wild punches.
Mike thows a body shot but no joy.
Mason takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Mo Mason has been cut.
Mike misses with the combination.
Mike avoids the body shot from Mason.
Mason does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mike fails to land with a series of punches.
Mike blocks a head kick by Mason.
Mike leaves Mason with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mason throws a series of punches but Mike avoids them all with ease.

Mike swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mason counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mike!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mike tries to hold on but Mason postures up.
Mason looking to control and managing it successfully.
Mike is working to get back to half guard.

Mason is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mike can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mason has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mason is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mike has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mike!
Mason is pulling down on Mike's head. It's preventing any offense from Mike, at least for the moment.
Mason is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mike is looking for a sweep. Mason is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mike is not content to let Mason control the position.
Mike tries to roll over but Mason keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mike lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mason backs up against the cage.
Iron Mike is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mike throws an overhand right that lands on Mason's shoulder, as Mason tries to avoid the shot.
Mason slips under a jab from Mike.
Mason dives in and grabs Mike's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mike pushes down on Mason's head and hops out.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mason shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mike pinned against the cage. Mike gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Iron Mike has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mo Mason.
Mike misses with a two punch combination.
Mike misses with a double jab.
Mason tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mo Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Mike misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mike lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That has opened up Mo Mason's cut even more.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mike throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iron Mike dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mo Mason's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mason tries a head kick but it misses.
Mason showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mike.
Mike throws a nice looking combination but Mason bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Iron Mike is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No joy there for Mike, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mike throws out a loose jab but Mason uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mason fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason looks for a takedown but Mike sprawls well.
Mason steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mike.

Mike falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mason counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mike misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oooh a lovely combination from Mike sends Mason down but not out. Mike dives into side control looking to finish.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mason wants to control but Mike postures up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Mason is breathing heavily.
Mike misses with the ground and pound.
Mike controls the position from side control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mike drops Mason with a left and a right! Oh, Mason is hurt - Mike dives into side control looking to finish!
The cut above Mo Mason's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mo Mason's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Iron Mike!
