The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters thuds a left hand into Valimaki's body.
Waters paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Waters lands a left and a right that send Valimaki crashing to the mat, dazed. Waters thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Valimaki is rocked!
It looks like Joni Valimaki has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Waters fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Valimaki is breathing heavily.
Waters drops Valimaki with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Valimaki! Waters dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
