Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josef Mauel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnecium Devecium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Magnecium Devecium was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devecium dives in and grabs Mauel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mauel pushes down on Devecium's head and hops out.

Mauel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Devecium to score an easy takedown into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Devecium accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mauel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Devecium gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Devecium is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mauel won't allow Devecium to pass to mount.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Devecium feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Devecium really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mauel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Mauel has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Devecium should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mauel has tightened it up now! Devecium should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
