Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thaddeus Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and barry bonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reese comes into the arena with BAMA Boyz-Sweet Home Alabama blaring out of the sound system. bonds has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thaddeus Reese! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, barry bonds! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reese looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. bonds looks gassed! Reese is nestled in close to bonds, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Reese lands a nice short elbow. Reese thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. bonds is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Reese scores with a couple of nice shots.
Reese seems to be looking for submissions.
Reese is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. bonds doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reese. Reese slips a nice elbow through bonds's hands, connecting with bonds's forehead. Reese working over bonds with some ground and pound. bonds looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Reese lands a nice short elbow. Reese scoring with strikes to the body and head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reese takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
