Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Salvaje (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jason miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
miller tries to clinch there but Salvaje circles away.
Horrible takedown by Salvaje or perhaps it was just good defense by miller which made him look bad.
miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Salvaje manages to avoid it.

Salvaje has taken the fight to the clinch.
miller tries for a takedown. No joy.

miller has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Salvaje clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

miller is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Salvaje has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
This has been an exciting period of action!

miller controlling well, preventing Salvaje from escaping the position.
Salvaje is breathing heavily.

miller lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Salvaje hold on?!
Salvaje trying to get back to his feet but miller is in full control for now.

miller is persistently looking for the submission but Salvaje is defending it well.
The referee is taking a good look at Salvaje as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from miller!

miller has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Salvaje has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

miller is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Salvaje has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but miller has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Salvaje taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. miller doesn't care though - he's delighted!
