The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mafusa shoots in and drives through. barker sprawls well.

john barker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
barker is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mafusa is aware though and is defending well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mafusa tries for a takedown but barker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
barker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mafusa tries to avoid it but barker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mafusa to the ground. Mafusa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

barker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. barker showed some decent athleticism there.
Mafusa is trying to maintain the position but barker is very close to passing his half guard.
barker stalling away here and it's allowed Mafusa to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

barker looking to sit in guard and control but Mafusa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mafusa got a little sloppy there for a moment and barker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mafusa has managed to get both his arms back between barker's legs - danger averted.

Efe Mafusa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mafusa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
