Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mahmaj Borat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Zerenova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borat comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - You Don't Know. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mahmaj Borat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikolai Zerenova!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zerenova blocks a head kick by Borat.
Borat instigates a clinch.
Borat stops a takedown attempt from Zerenova.
Borat gets underhooks to prevent Zerenova's takedown attempt.
Zerenova wants the takedown. Borat is fighting it off but Zerenova persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Borat's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Borat is looking to stand up but Zerenova isn't so interested in that idea.
Borat is pulling down on Zerenova's head. It's preventing any offense from Zerenova, at least for the moment.
Zerenova has gone for a leg lock! Borat slips out almost immediately though and dives into Zerenova's guard.
Borat stands up over Zerenova, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Borat has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zerenova is proving hard to escape from.
Borat is pushing down on Zerenova's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zerenova is fighting to maintain full guard but Borat has managed to sneak the leg through.

Borat passes into side control, despite Zerenova's attempt to control the position.
Borat is putting a hurting on Zerenova here, landing some big shots from side control.
Zerenova dodges the ground and pound from Borat.

You can see the frustration on Zerenova's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Zerenova is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Borat off and has taken his back!
Borat is really stuck here.
Borat defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Zerenova's arms.

Zerenova doesn't have the hooks in and Borat manages to turn into his guard.

Borat controls Zerenova momentarily but Zerenova frees himself.
Zerenova postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Borat is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zerenova, into his guard.
Borat makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Zerenova is working an open guard so Borat takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Borat moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Zerenova avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Borat is looking to clinch but Zerenova is avoiding it.
Zerenova shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Borat defends it nicely.
Mahmaj Borat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikolai Zerenova.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Borat. Zerenova shrugs it off though.
Borat tries to clinch there but Zerenova circles away.
Borat lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Borat shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zerenova counters with a shoot takedown. Borat fights it but they end up in guard.

Zerenova trying to control the position from guard on top but Borat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zerenova thows a big elbow that misses.
Borat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zerenova drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zerenova jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Borat keeping moving, preventing Zerenova from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Borat shoots in but Zerenova avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Borat looks to clinch
and Zerenova moves into the clinch.
Zerenova jumps guard and drags Borat to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Borat tries to free his leg and advance position but Zerenova is retaining full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zerenova has a closed guard, preventing Borat from standing up.
Zerenova wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Nikolai Zerenova showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Zerenova fails with the takedown
and Borat counters with an inside leg kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Borat is pressed up against the cage. Zerenova has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Borat down to the mat. Borat avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Borat closes the distance but Zerenova moves to the side
and Zerenova counters with a nice double leg into side control. Borat won't be happy with that.
Borat is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Zerenova with the ground and pound but Borat regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Borat keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Zerenova is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Borat defends it well.
Zerenova is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Zerenova thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Borat's head.
Zerenova trying to mount his opponent but Borat defends it.
Zerenova thows a huge punch but Borat dodges it nicely.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Zerenova has a takedown stuffed.

and Zerenova counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zerenova.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zerenova accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Zerenova shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Zerenova swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Borat is now in Zerenova's guard. A big mistake from Zerenova there, giving up the dominant position!

Borat wants to control from the top but Zerenova keeps moving.
Zerenova has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Borat off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Borat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zerenova.
And that's the end of the fight!
Nikolai Zerenova comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Zerenova has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
