Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Barroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and taff jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). taff jones struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Barroni closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Barroni is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Barroni is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so jones is just riding it out for now. Barroni eventually gives up the hold.
jones is looking for a sweep. Barroni is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Barroni not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Barroni stops jones from getting back to his feet.
Barroni seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Barroni wants to lay and pray for a moment but jones keeps working.
Barroni looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

jones is looking to stand up but Barroni isn't so interested in that idea.
Barroni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barroni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Barroni wants to sweep here but jones controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barroni is looking for a triangle but jones pushes his legs off easily.

jones wants to stand and escape but instead Barroni has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barroni accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Barroni fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. jones sprawls well initially but Barroni persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Barroni is looking to advance position but jones won't allow it.
Barroni is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Barroni.
Barroni prevents jones from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Barroni closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Barroni is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Barroni working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
jones can't do much from the bottom here.

jones tries to buck Barroni off but Barroni is having none of it.

Barroni is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, jones has escaped the position, nice work there.

Barroni throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Barroni has control of an arm but jones manages to advance to Barroni's back!
jones is trying to stick to Barroni's back but Barroni is turning into jones. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in jones's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Barroni.
Barroni thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Barroni advances position into side control!
Barroni has hold of jones's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! jones tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Barroni cranks the arm and jones screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from jones, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Leon Barroni!
