The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mauler scores with a takedown into Cartside's guard.
Cartside is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mauler scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Mauler postures up.
Cartside has Mauler pulled in close to control his posture.
Cartside tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mauler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mauler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cartside pulls Mauler in close to his closed guard and prevents Mauler from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mauler keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cartside's head.
Cartside will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cartside looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mauler is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Mauler wants to get back to full guard.
Cartside content to control rather than advance.
Cartside is pressing down on Mauler's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mauler is holding on for now.
Cartside slows the pace down in half guard.
Cartside prevents Mauler from improving his position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mauler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cartside tries to hold on but Mauler pushes him away.
Mauler scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Cartside is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Mauler pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Cartside is rocked!
Mauler landing strikes from the mount and Cartside is in trouble!
Oh Cartside is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big strike lands for Mauler! That's really hurt Cartside and he's turned his back - Mauler keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Mauler Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marius Mauler!
