Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Broph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Greg! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Broph is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Greg misses with a body shot.
Broph throws a leg kick that misses. Broph slips under a jab. Greg throws a body punch but Broph moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Greg. Broph does a little dance to reset his feet. Broph uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Greg. Broph connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Broph lands with a right hand. Broph moves into the clinch. Broph is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Broph pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A jab lands there for Broph. A jab from Greg misses. Broph throws a nice looking combination but Greg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

It looks like Craig Broph has been cut. Broph slips a straight right by Greg. Broph avoids the body shot from Greg.
Broph throws a series of punches but Greg moves out of range. Broph looks to land a combination but Greg avoids it well. Broph moves away from the strike by Greg. Some bone on bone action there as Greg checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Broph counters with a one-two to the body. Nice jab there from Broph. Greg loads up on a big right hand but Broph slips the punch. Broph slips under a jab. Greg walks into a stiff left hand from Broph. Greg misses with an uppercut. Broph misses with a hook. Greg ducked under it nicely. Broph tries to clinch up. Broph fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Greg sprawls well initially but Broph persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Broph is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Greg really wants to buck Broph off and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greg wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Broph.

Broph misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Greg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Broph. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Broph landing strikes, looking to finish! Broph controlling the pace for now. Broph throws some wild stikes that Greg manages to avoid easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Greg is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greg can do anything to dispel that myth. Broph goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Greg is on top in guard.

Greg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Broph seems keen to control Greg's posture. Greg leaves Broph with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Broph walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Broph moves out of range of the strikes. A big right from Greg misses. Greg fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Broph on the side of the head. Greg throws a looping overhand right but Broph ducks down to avoid it.

Broph is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Greg closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Greg might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Broph punishes Greg's body with a nice straight punch. Greg throws a left and a right that both miss
and Broph counters with a straight right hand. Greg jabbing away but nothing is landing. Samuel Greg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Broph throws a head kick that misses. Greg misses with a few strikes there.

Greg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Broph sees it coming and avoids it easily. Craig Broph is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Greg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Broph. Greg works Broph's body with a nice hook. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Greg thows a body shot but no joy. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Broph. Broph keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Greg. Greg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Broph sees it coming and avoids it easily. Broph misses with a double jab.

and Greg counters with a crisp one two that drops Broph! Greg thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Broph to his feet! Broph is in big trouble!
Broph is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Greg misses with a wild combination.
Oh Broph is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Greg lands with a right hand. Greg throws a series of punches but Broph avoids them all with ease. Broph seems to have got his legs back now. Greg chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Broph can pounce on him.
Broph ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Broph bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Broph steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Greg. Greg misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Greg stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Greg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Craig Broph's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Broph sizes up Greg with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Broph feints and as Greg raises his hands in defense, Broph changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Greg is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Broph drops back, looking for a kneebar! Greg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Greg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Greg! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greg wants to stand but Broph is controlling his arm. Broph tries to improve position but can't. Greg has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Greg throws a sloppy body shot
and Broph makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Greg throws a hook to the side of Broph's head but Broph sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Broph misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Greg.
Greg throws an overhand right that lands on Broph's shoulder, as Broph tries to avoid the shot. Greg lands the left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broph closes this distance looking for a takedown but Greg circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Broph. That's going to take a lot out of him. Broph throws a leg kick that misses. Broph throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Craig Broph's cut is getting worse. Greg throws a jab but it's blocked by Broph. Greg lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Greg throws a shot from downtown. Broph moves away and avoids it. Greg connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Broph's hands. Greg throws a hook but Broph blocks it. Broph cracks Greg with an open hand slap. Broph lands a two punch combo.
Broph walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good shot there by Greg.
Craig Broph's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Broph doesn't succeed with the takedown and Greg counters with a crisp right hand that drops Broph! Greg lets Broph back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Broph leaves his chin hanging out and Greg seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Broph crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
