Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kim Woo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Kimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kim Woo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Kimble!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Kimble lands an impressive looking overhand right. Woo doesn't seem phased though.
Woo circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kimble scores a takedown into full mount!
Woo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kimble takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Woo bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Woo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Woo passes Kimble's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kimble wants to improve his position but Woo is controlling well.
Kimble gets back to full guard.
Kimble looking to hit a scissor sweep but Woo is one step ahead there.
Woo trying to control but Kimble is working from the bottom.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Woo has gone for a leg lock! Kimble slips out almost immediately though and dives into Woo's guard.
Kimble pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Woo is keeping the position for now.
Kimble is stalling in the full guard.
Kimble stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Woo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Woo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kimble is one step ahead there.
Kimble seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kimble gets to his feet - Woo follows without any prompting.
Kimble throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kim Woo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Woo throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kimble counters with a takedown into side control.
Kimble takes a little break here. Woo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Kimble looks gassed!

Woo is looking for a sweep.
Kimble staying calm.
Woo is trying to get back to half guard.
Woo is trying to control Kimble's posture but Kimble avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kimble stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Kimble scores with a body shot.
Woo misses with a two punch combination.
Nice uppercut there from Kimble.

Kimble bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here as Kimble stalls from top position.
Kimble is looking to take a break and control but Woo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kimble moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Woo tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kimble is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Woo's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kimble is looking to take a break and control but Woo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kimble slows the pace down.
Kimble is breathing heavily.
Kimble cracks Woo with a big elbow.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kimble controls the position.
Woo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kimble moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Todd Kimble just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kimble looks to land a combination. Woo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kim Woo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kimble closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Woo to the mat! Woo manages to get full guard.

Woo working for a triangle but Kimble defends it easily.
Kimble controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Woo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kimble stopping the sweep attempt from Woo.
Kimble trying to control but Woo is working from the bottom.
Kimble is stalling in the full guard.

Todd Kimble showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Kimble wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woo keeps working.

Woo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kimble is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kimble has escaped and now he's on top!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kimble is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kimble trying to control the position from guard on top but Woo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kimble throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Woo on the side of the head.
Woo tries for a takedown but Kimble circles away easily
enabling Kimble to counter with a crisp jab.
Kimble fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Woo scores with a nice right hand.
Woo misses with a series of wild punches.
Kimble scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Kimble closes the distance and clinches.

Kimble tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Woo smiles and moves away.
Kimble looks to land a combination but Woo avoids it well.
Kimble is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Woo throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kimble counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Todd Kimble is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Woo tries to get to full guard but Kimble has control of the leg.
Kimble stalling.

And that's the end of the fight!
Todd Kimble comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kimble has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
