The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evil moves away from the strike by mockenmaker.
mockenmaker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evil is fending him off so far but mockenmaker persists. Nope, Evil circles away and we're back to standing.
mockenmaker takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
mockenmaker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evil pinned against the cage. Evil gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Evil wants to sweep but no luck.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Evil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Evil feints and then cracks mockenmaker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow mockenmaker down.

Evil fakes high and swings low for a body shot but mockenmaker manages to avoid it.
mockenmaker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Evil's waist but Evil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing mockenmaker off to one side.

and Evil counters with a crisp one two that drops mockenmaker! Evil thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves mockenmaker to his feet! mockenmaker is in big trouble!

and Evil finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Look low, kick high! Evil uses the oldest trick in the book to send mockenmaker tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Evil is absolutely delighted - when mockenmaker wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
