Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Dank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Kardinal Offishall- Bang bang as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stephen Dank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brandon Davis!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dank gets caught flat footed, as Davis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dank preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Davis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dank working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Davis.
Davis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Dank will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dank tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Davis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dank won't be happy with that.
Davis throws a strike aimed at the side of Dank's head but Dank avoids it well.

Davis misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dank keeps working.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dank darts in trying to clinch

so Davis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Davis throws a strike but Dank rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Well Davis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
