Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ad Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Sandusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ad Po has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ad Po! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gary Sandusky! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandusky throws a chopping leg kick but Po manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Ad Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sandusky thows a left - swing and a miss! Po paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Po closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sandusky circles away. Po is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Po shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Po trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Po drops back looking for a leg! Sandusky is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sandusky manages to kick Po off! Po jumps back into Sandusky's guard. Po tries to free his leg and advance position but Sandusky is retaining full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sandusky can do anything to dispel that myth. Sandusky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Po wants to control from the top but Sandusky keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sandusky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Po's guard. Sandusky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sandusky makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Po is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sandusky connects with a couple of short punches. Sandusky working some strikes from top position. Po has his foot on Sandusky's thigh. Sandusky content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sandusky scoring with some ground and pound. Po utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Po is trying to keep Sandusky in close.
Sandusky is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sandusky stands and throws Po's legs to the side, diving into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Po is trying to get back to half guard. Po is working hard here to advance position. Po manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Po is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sandusky scores with a couple of nice shots. Po taking some punishment here, with Sandusky in his half guard. Sandusky is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sandusky is thwarting Po's attempts to control the position. Po is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sandusky slips a nice elbow through Po's hands, connecting with Po's forehead. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sandusky connects with a nice short shot to Po's temple. Po slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Po looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandusky trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Sandusky is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sandusky stands up over Po, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Po throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sandusky is looking to work some ground and pound but Po has wrist control. Sandusky distracts Po with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sandusky accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sandusky content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sandusky in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Po is trying to control the position but Sandusky postures up. Sandusky is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Po working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary Sandusky dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Po tries for a takedown but Sandusky circles away easily and Sandusky counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Sandusky is thwarting Po's attempts to control the position. Po actively working from the bottom here. Sandusky working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ground and pound from Sandusky. Po on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sandusky lands a nice short elbow. That's one minute gone in the round. Po has hold of Sandusky's hands but Sandusky slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Po is rocked! Sandusky seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Oh Po is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ground and pound from Sandusky. Sandusky lands a big elbow - Po is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Sandusky!
