Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Crack!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Senor Skeletor!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crack slips under a jab from Skeletor.
Crack misses the shot to the body.
Crack on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Skeletor.
Skeletor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Skeletor misses with a jab to the body

and Crack moves into the clinch.
Skeletor is stalling here.
Crack tries to land knees in the clinch but Skeletor avoids the damage to the body.
Crack lands a nice knee to the body.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Skeletor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Crack has managed to clinch.
Crack connects with a nasty looking knee right to Skeletor's face.


It looks like Senor Skeletor has been cut.
Skeletor slowing the pace effectively.
Skeletor pushes Crack back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Skeletor lands an uppercut.
Crack looking to throw knees to the head but Skeletor is blocking nicely.
Skeletor is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A knee to the head by Crack.
Skeletor blocks an elbow strike.

Skeletor manages to break the clinch.
Crack moves in looking to clinch but Skeletor pushes him off.
Crack looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Crack moves into the clinch.

Skeletor breaks from the clinch.
Crack tries to close the distance and clinch but Skeletor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Crack throws a nice inside leg kick.
Skeletor misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Crack counters with a leg kick.
Harry Crack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Crack tries to clinch but Skeletor is having none of it.
Skeletor checks the leg kick.
Skeletor stuns Crack with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Crack wants to clinch.
Crack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crack is looking to clinch.
Crack is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Skeletor catches Crack with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Crack tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Skeletor looks to land a left hand but Crack moved out of range nicely.

Skeletor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Crack looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Crack prevents Skeletor from improving position.
The strikes coming from Skeletor are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes there by Skeletor.

Skeletor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Skeletor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Skeletor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Skeletor tries to advance to mount but Crack denies him.
Crack is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Skeletor asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Crack is looking to regain half guard here but Skeletor keeps moving and retains side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Skeletor has hold of Crack's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Crack seems comfortable defending it but Skeletor has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Crack is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Crack is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Skeletor couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Senor Skeletor!
