Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deva Stating (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Langlais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deva Stating! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Langlais! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stating will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stating misses with a wild combination.
Stating tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Langlais looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stating is fending him off so far but Langlais persists. Nope, Stating circles away and we're back to standing. Langlais slips a jab and a cross from Stating.
Langlais avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Langlais drives through with a takedown into guard. Langlais loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Langlais slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Stating wants to get back to his feet. Stating can't do much from the bottom here.

Stating is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stating thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Stating slips a nice elbow through Langlais's hands, connecting with Langlais's forehead. Langlais lands with a few short shots to the body. Stating throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Langlais looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The strikes coming from Langlais are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Langlais looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Langlais working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Stating is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Langlais is just riding it out for now. Stating eventually gives up the hold. Langlais looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stating wants to stand up but Langlais is controlling the position.
Stating thows a huge punch but Langlais dodges it nicely.
Stating looking for a submission but Langlais manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stating got a little sloppy there for a moment and Langlais has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stating has managed to get both his arms back between Langlais's legs - danger averted. Langlais working for a triangle but Stating defends it easily.
Stating loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stating gets to his feet - Langlais follows without any prompting. Stating looks to land a combination but Langlais avoids it well. Stating gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Langlais to score an easy takedown into full guard. Langlais must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Langlais throws a strike but Stating rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Langlais throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Langlais showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Langlais feints and as Stating raises his hands in defense, Langlais changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stating is adopting a defensive guard. Chris Langlais has got the better of the ground game so far. Langlais lands a couple of elbows. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Langlais lands a couple of decent looking shots. Langlais thows a big elbow that misses. Langlais advances position into side control! Langlais working the strikes but Stating uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stating keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Langlais stops Stating from getting back to his feet.
