Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Horiato Hayato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunk Mexican (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drunk Mexican will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horiato Hayato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drunk Mexican! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mexican gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hayato to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mexican wants to get back to his feet but Hayato passes into half guard.
Hayato is looking to take a break and control but Mexican is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hayato missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hayato is nestled in close to Mexican, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hayato missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ground and pound from Hayato. Hayato decides to stand up. Mexican throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hayato tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mexican looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mexican throws a right and a left that Hayato avoids nicely. Hayato drives through with a takedown into guard. Hayato postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hayato gets to his feet. Mexican looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hayato bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hayato stands up and beckons Mexican to his feet. Mexican misses with a few strikes there.
Mexican throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hayato's head. Drunk Mexican seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hayato closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hayato is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hayato drops an elbow to the side of Mexican's head. Hayato takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mexican has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hayato is working away from the top position though. Hayato stands up out of the half guard. Mexican with a body punch. A glancing blow. An inside leg kick lands from Mexican. Mexican looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mexican throws a head kick but Hayato moves out of range.
Hayato shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hayato takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hayato scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hayato lands a nice short elbow. Hayato seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mexican does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hayato takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hayato missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Mexican really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hayato. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hayato wants to work for an arm triangle but Mexican is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mexican is trying to keep Hayato in close.
Hayato advances position into side control! Hayato cracks Mexican with a big right hand but Mexican just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Hayato lands a decent elbow from side control. Hayato decides to stand back up. Hayato steps back and let's Mexican get back to his feet. Mexican scores with a one two! Hayato had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mexican throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hayato clinches up against the cage. Hayato breaks from the clinch.

Horiato Hayato dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mexican stuffs the takedown attempt from Hayato. Hayato gets slowly back to his feet. Hayato misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mexican.
Mexican throws a head kick that misses and Hayato counters with a nice double leg into guard. Mexican working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hayato. Hayato wants to control from the top but Mexican keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mexican controls Hayato momentarily but Hayato frees himself. Hayato pushing down on Mexican's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mexican is breathing heavily. Mexican is trying to stand back up but Hayato is controlling him

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hayato stalling.

Mexican might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hayato kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mexican wants to get back to his feet. Hayato lands with a punch from half guard. Mexican trying to control but Hayato postures up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hayato connects with a nice short shot to Mexican's temple. Hayato is working for a kimura but Mexican is defending it quite comfortably.
Horiato Hayato overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nice strikes from Hayato there.

Horiato Hayato dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
