The crowd seem to be enjoying Bastard's choice of entrance music: soul survivor. Crazy Bastard has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Darnell Jefferson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard fails to land the takedown.

Bastard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jefferson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bastard has managed to get both his arms back between Jefferson's legs - danger averted.
Bastard drops back looking for a leg! Jefferson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jefferson manages to kick Bastard off! Bastard jumps back into Jefferson's guard.

Darnell Jefferson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crazy Bastard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jefferson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jefferson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
